I’m Lauren. I’m a Wisconsin native living in Southern California. I’m infatuated with the outdoor lifestyle I enjoy here year-round that wasn’t an option in the Midwest. I ride my bike everywhere: the grocery store, library and the ocean. I spend free afternoons at outdoor cafes. At dusk, I like to run on the beach.

This blog began in 2007 as a letter home to family and friends when I started traveling abroad in college. It’s part personal, part travel, with photography sprinkled in between. Enjoy. ☼
