In honor of our ‘new’ grill, my Uncle Dave bought us a vertical chicken roaster. It’s a grilling accessory that let’s you cook a chicken upright, with a can of beer shoved up its butt. (Who comes up with this stuff?!)

The intention was to cook our chicken on the grill, but it was so cold outside we opted for the oven instead. The chicken turned out really good — juicy and tender.

Recipe tip: Make sure to drink 1/2 the beer before cooking it with the chicken, or else it’ll bubble over. If your chicken is under 21, Coca-Cola works, too. ☼
